PRINCIPAL’S DAY CELEBRATION
The Principal’s Day celebration at Silver Hills Higher Secondary School was held with warmth and reverence on Monday, 9 June 2025, at 8.00 am. The occasion was dedicated to honouring Rev Fr John Mannarathara CMI, Principal of Silver Hills HSS on his birthday to honour his dedicated service, inspiring leadership and unwavering commitment to the school’s vision and mission.
The celebration began with a graceful welcome dance performed by Aleena Binu, which set a vibrant and cheerful tone for the programme. This was followed by a heartfelt prayer by the school choir, seeking blessings and expressing gratitude. Avantika M J then shared the thought for the day, offering reflections on leadership, service and the positive influence of the Principal on the school community.
A significant moment of the programme was the cake cutting and handing over of a gift to the Principal, expressing the collective appreciation of the students, staff and PTA. The spirit of the occasion was further lifted by the warm birthday wishes delivered by several dignitaries and faculty members. Rev Fr Augustine K Mathew CMI, Manager of Silver Hills Institutions, and Rev Fr Mathew Kalapurayil CMI, Principal of Silver Hills Public School, conveyed their heartfelt wishes. Faculty member Neelima Devadasan and PTA President Abhilash I P also expressed their deep appreciation and admiration. Fellah Khadeeja P P student of class 11 joined in extending greetings, creating an atmosphere filled with affection and gratitude.
A melodious song by Athira K Krishnan added a soulful touch to the event. The Principal, Rev Fr John Mannarathara CMI, then addressed the gathering with a gracious reply to the toast. In his address, he thanked the school community for their love and support and shared a message of unity, discipline and continuous growth.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Manoj V P, faculty member, who expressed sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the event. The celebration concluded with the national anthem, marking the end of a joyful and meaningful morning.
Principal’s Day was not merely a celebration but a heartfelt tribute to the vision, guidance and compassionate presence of the Principal. The event served as a reminder of the core values that the school upholds and the collective commitment of its community to continue striving towards excellence.
