Anti-drug Awareness Day on June 26

Anti-drug Awareness Day
World Drug Day was observed on June 26, and this day aimed to educate people about the harmful impact of drug abuse. Silver Hills Higher Secondary school actively participated in raising awareness and encouraged the students to be vigilant. 
Scout and Guides, Junior Red Cross and Trail Eco Club team at Silver Hills Higher Secondary school organised an Anti-Drug Awareness program on June 26th, 2024. Rev. Fr. John Mannarthara CMI inaugured the program and welcomed the guest, Dr Alex Prasad, who advised the students that life is the greatest and most exciting gift that we humans have. The students participated in rallies,  poster making, and a skit portraying Drug prevention themes. Students took a pledge to Stay Drug Free. 
Organizing this Anti-Drug Day program in a school was definitely an effective way to educate students about the dangers of drug use and promote a drug-free lifestyle.
